Obituary of Frances M. Wahl
Frances M. Wahl, 89, of Webster Manor, Webster, formerly of Woodstock and Meriden, Conn., died Friday, March 20, 2009 in Webster. She was the wife of the late Elmer Wahl, he died in 2001. She was born March 11, 1920, in Mount Morris, N.Y., daughter of the late Arthur E. and Charlotte A. (Bell) Miller.
Frances was employed at Stanley Works in New Britain, CT as a timekeeper. She retired in 1977. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Woodstock, CT and she enjoyed her daily phone conversations with friends, including her sister-in-law Kay.
She leaves a daughter, Lynda Fredin, of Webster; close friend Sandra Borey, of Webster; several grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Meriden, CT. Smith &Walker Funeral Home, of Putnam, is in charge of the arrangements. Donations may be made in her memory to the Webster Manor Nursing Home, 745 School Street, Webster, MA 01570. To share a memory with her family, "Light a Candle" at www.smithandwalkerfh.com.
