Obituary of Alice M. DeLoge

Alice M. Deloge, 81 of 218 Woodstock Avenue, Putnam, died Saturday, March 2, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 20, 1931 in Moosup, CT, daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha (Rock) Lariviere. She worked for over thirty years at the former Hale Manufacturing Company in Central Village, Ballouville and Putnam. She had made her home in Putnam most of her life. She was an avid Connectuct Sun WNBA Basketball fan and enjoyed attending games at the Mohegan Sun Arena, and also a great fan of the UCONN Women's Basketball program. She will be remembered as a sweet and loving woman with a big heart. She always put her family and friends needs first. She leaves her children Brenda Kingsley of Putnam; MaryJane Grimshaw of Danielson; Norman J. Deloge and his wife Ronda of Hope Mills, NC; her siblings Theresa Tatro of Wauregan; Mary Plante of Putnam; Eugene Lariviere of Putnam; beloved Meme to her six grandchildren and her 16 great grandchildren, she also leaves several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Rita, Margaret, Noella, Agnes, Lucille, Rose, Cecelia, and Joseph. Calling Hours Tuesday, March 5, 2013 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 5:00 PM at the Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, CT.
