When I first met Porky and Cecile, I was a little intimadated, however, that didn't last long. They were very welcoming and warm. We used to play cards EVERY Monday..we'd drink coffee, eat her freshly baked goods and not to mention, have plenty of laughs! I'm smiling just by looking back. God, how it seems like yesterday. They were very good friends with my Grandparents, Jack and Loretta Scungio. When my Grandfather passed, my Grandmother would continue to visit them. They understood how lonely my Grandmother had become and they were a big part of her healing. She adored both of them. I have so many wonderful memories of Porky and Cecile..Where did he ever get that nickname Porky?? Not to mention - his wife would call him Fig or Figgy! He was always good humored..he loved to tease! He'll be greatly missed. Good bye Porky. Rest in peace.
