Ellen Hall posted a condolence
Though I never met Barbara, I have enjoyed being related by marriage to her daughter Mary, who is married to my cousin Paul Kinney.
I am very sorry for your loss, Mary and family.
With love,
Ellen

Barbara was our babysitter in the 1930's before she went to nursing school. Our families were close and dear friends. We were at her Mother's home on Dec. 7th, 1941 when she enlisted in the Army. We remember going to the train station during World War II when she came home on leave from Saipan in the South Pacific.Beverly was in her wedding party and babysat for her girls for a short time before going to nursing school out of state sfter which we lost contact. We are sorry for your loss and remember her with love.

I remember when I worked with Barbara at Backus Hospital, I was a brand new nurse and I admired Barbara for her knowledge and how she kept her cool under pressure. She was highly regarded by all her fellow nurses and doctors. It's good to see that Sharon decided to follow in her mothers' footsteps. My daughter Amanda sends her condolences to her and her family along with my own.
