I am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Bill. I have known him for the past 20 years as a neighbor and friend. He was a kind, witty, and gracious man. My sympathies to Linda and the boys. He will be sorely missed!

Unfortunately, we knew bill such a short time here in Pomfret but he was one of the good guys. Always smiling and friendly. We will miss our neighbor and friend. Linda and the family, we are thinking of you and praying for you all.

I worked many years with Bill at Belden. As PCO Mgr. at the Richmond Plant, Bill took me on my first customer visit to a CATV customer in Ft. Wayne. This was the mid-1970s. Bill drove me in his company car. It had no dash board in it at the time! He'd intended to make some repairs and just hadn't gotten around to it yet! He also hosted my first European trip in the early 1980s and personally showed me around such wonderful cities as Paris and Rome. He was such a good guy and I have great memories of our fun times together. I'll miss "Wild Bill" Wilmot and express my sincere condolences to Bill's entire family and close friends. He was a good man and I'm glad to have had him as a friend.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Bill Wilmot. We both are 1957 graduates of Washington High School in East Chicago, IN and I was fortunate that I saw him at our 50th Class reunion. He was a great athlete and nice guy. May he rest in peace.

I worked for Bill at Belden and he was above all my favorite boss. He was a bear on the outside but a kitten on the inside. I am so sorry for your loss, I'm sure he will be greatly missed.
